Steelcase Walkstations | Uncrate:

'via Blog this'

As you may know, sitting at a computer all day is not good for your health.  Here is one answer to that problem: a hybrid desk and treadmill.  Now, how to get your boss to buy this $4,400 desk for you?  I'll leave that one to you.  Good luck!

The Glitch Mob

The Glitch Mob:

'via Blog this'

I've just recently discovered these guys, and I love them!  After talking with my brother-in-law about them over the holidays, I thought I should share them with everyone.  Give them a listen, you can find them on spotify, as well as many other music services, or just go to their website and listen there.

Enjoy!

p.s.  If you like them, check out Pretty Lights as well.

Happy to Be Home

It's nice to be home again...our new home that is.  Moving across the country has taken a lot of my time and has been the reason for a lack of posts lately, but I hope that will change as things begin to settle down.  Here's a beautiful sunset with the golden gate bridge waaaaaaay back there in the background surrounded in fog.

Hope everyone had the best of holidays!

Holy shit...this is big! This could mean the reunification of Korea, it could mean World War III, or it could mean more of the same. We'll see how this plays out. The suspected successor to Kim Jong-il is his youngest son, who is likely in his twenties. Let's hope he's not a crazy, power-hungry, dictator type and has some mind to bring peace and stability to the area.

This is the sort of thing that makes me irate.  Why are we messing with this stuff, you know someone is going to let this out into the world.  I suppose there is some merit in trying to prepare for such an event, but as someone said, (Gandalf, I embarrassingly believe) "One often meets one's fate on the road to avoid it."
